Consider adding new species to your collection
With habitat destruction, natural occurring orchids (species) are disappearing.
Government agencies are trying to protect orchids from extinction by regulating the trade of species and poaching (illegally obtaining) of orchids.
You can do your part by purchasing seed or tissue grown orchid species. By doing this you are insuring that your orchids have not been poached. Another benefit to purchasing tissue and seed grown species is they are easier to grow and have better flower quality than naturally occurring species.
If you can’t find a species, a primary hybrid (cross of two species) is a great alternative. We have numerous species in various sizes, such as seedlings, blooming and non-blooming plants.
