Start with something simple
Do you want to try to make your own flower arrangement? It’s very simple when you start with something simple. How about trying just one type of flower? Find a small vase and buy your favorite flower. If you want to add a little texture to it buy some greenery, as well. Or if you have lots of greenery in your yard, cut a few stems to add to the arrangement. A small cluster of flowers like the ones in this video are a great way to make an impact. Start building your base by either using some simple greens at the base of the vase or just start with your flowers.
Start building on it one flower at a time, crisscrossing your stems to keep things in place. Make sure you buy enough flowers to make a nice, rounded, tight bouquet. Try to cut your flowers low so they are just above the top of your vase to make for a nice, compacted arrangement. To keep your arrangement fresh, change your water every other day to keep it clean. And make sure to give fresh slanted cuts to your flower stems often, as well.
